Your body is REALLY SMART!
Over the course of many millennia, life has figured out how to solve many challenges for the human species. One challenge was figuring out how to create individual cells walls that wouldn't break down in the surrounding water based fluids. One big part of that answer was cholesterol! Another problem was how to get cholesterol from the body's factory (your liver) to where it is needed in your body. The answer was lipoproteins. Whether you are consciously familiar with lipoproteins or not, you unconsciously are.
Lipoproteins are the structures that carry cholesterol around in your body. They are commonly referred to as LDL and HDL. LDL is called "Bad cholesterol" and HDL is called "Good cholesterol." Neither is true.

Q: So why, then, are we told that LDL is bad and HDL is good?
See, if there is no "bad cholesterol" there is no need for a product to "fix" bad cholesterol and therefore no money to be made.
When it comes to healthcare, there is no real big money to be made other than with pharmaceuticals. After all "Healthcare" is that which nourishes health. To do so, one must take care of their Structure (i.e posture - more about that elsewhere), Condition their body through appropriate exercise, and Nourish their body with the right, good foods. This is compared to crisis intervention which more accurately, and incredibly usefully, prevents death at times.
The real problem with cholesterol is when the particle size gets small enough that it can fit in the spaces between cells, the "gap junctions."
Q: "How do I solve this problem of cholesterol particles that are too small?" you might ask.
A: "Change your diet. Eat more fat and eat a lot fewer carbohydrates/carbs (sugar, pasta, juices, rice, etc.)" is how I'd answer.
